As a kid I had nightmares that made bedtime awful.  I struggled with it for years until my Dad stumbled upon a solution that ended my nightmares forever.   The Dream Warriors started by chance when my Dad told me a story about my favorite teddy bear "Henry".   His story worked so well that years later when one of my friends had a son who also suffered from nightmares,  I told him a slightly more detailed version of the story my Dad told me.  The story also worked for him.  It was at that time I realized the Dream Warrior story could help every child who had the same fear and anxiety about bedtime that I did.

10 Years later when I met my wife (an illustrator by trade) I asked her to bring this story to life by illustrating the scenes I had in my head.  I took us about 6 months , but The Dream Warriors was finally a children's book that we could share with the world.   Little did we know that was the easy part.  Printing and publishing would be a test that nearly ended our hopes of sharing this story.  It was a slow process, but after we started our own family we gave the Dream Warriors a second try, and in 2010 we had our first Dream Warriors Story Book printed.  Over the next 5 years we had every door we tried to walk through slammed in our face.   Not being able to give up, we self published in 2015,  but again found the obstacles of distribution of a children's book that required a physical teddy bear as crucial pair was simply more than our resources could overcome.  In 2019 were finally able to put almost all the pieces together.  We began chasing this dream for the third time, and this time it seemed we had everything we needed to make this dream a reality.  In late 2020 all the stars finally aligned and we had our Dream Warrior book and our Dream Warrior bear ready to save kids from their nightmares.

It has been an amazing journey full of highs and lows, a journey not unlike the struggle of overcoming nightmares as a kid.  The lesson was simple, we need to start young, and make a habit of never running away from our dreams, and always running towards them!
